We were given a simple prompt, “What if ____ designed____.” We were given total freedom as to what we wanted to fill in the blanks with. It took me a while to figure out my topic but after some time of exploration, I found my inspiration. When I play video games I find it hard to control all the buttons when my hands are cold. I either sit on my hands or blow on them to warm them up. I then thought, what if PlayStation designed a hand warmer?

Process:

This project required a lot of exploration and work. First, I began with sketches to see what I wanted my design to look like. After I finalized my design, I moved into a Computer Aided Design program called SolidWorks to start creating my design. Designing my product had some issues but after many hours of work, it finally came out the way I wanted. I then brought my design into a program called KeyShot where I can add the PlayStation logo and materials I needed. The final step was to layout my poster while keeping the essence of PlayStation.
